CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The Real Salt Lake U-15/16 & U-17/18 Academy teams are set to play host to Southwest Division rivals Nomads SC on Sunday at the Grande Sports World. The U-17/18 match is set to kick off at 11:00 AM and will be followed by the U-15/16 match at 1:30 PM.
The RSL-AZ U-17/18 Academy team, #4 seed in USSDA Playoffs Pool, is the Southwest Division leader with a 15-1-4 record. RSL-AZ U-17/18 is currently on a 11 match undefeated streak, which is tied with U-17/18 record set in 2010-11.
Sam Gleadle has been in great form scoring 9 goals in the 2014 calendar year. Eric Carbajal is the team leader with 12 goals and is followed by Gleadle with 9, Corey Baird and Jose Hernandez who has found the back of the net 7 times each. Carbajal, Gleadle and Hernandez are all tied for the team lead in assists with 5 each. In RSL-AZ U-17/18′s most recent match they defeated Real So Cal 4-0 on Sunday, March 30th.

Forward Sebastian Saucedo is tied for the top spot in the U-15/16 age group with 20 goals scored. Josh Doughty has notched 9 goals; Tate Schmitt and Diego “Diablo” Silva has scored 6 each, while Justen Glad has recorded 5 goals.
