CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The Real Salt Lake U-14 Academy team played FC Dallas U-14 Academy team to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon at the Grande Sports World. Luke Madsen scored the lone goal for the Claret-and-Cobalt, when Reagan Magume cut into the midfield from the right-wing and played up to Bryan Martinez. He then turned and played to Gallo, who then lofted a ball over the FC Dallas backline. Madsen ran up to the ball and finished near post.

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The coaching staff at the Grande Sports Academy home of the Real Salt Lake – Arizona Academy is preparing for one massive weekend of soccer, as the RSL-AZ U-16 & U-18 Elite teams are set to participate in Presidents Day Tournament in Phoenix, while the Real Salt lake U-17 and U-15 will play hosts to a handful on Major League Soccer Academy teams at the Grande Sports World for the second leg of the 2013-14 Generation Adidas Cup. Though the GC Cup is officially a U-17 tournament, participating teams in Denver have also brought up a U-15 team to participate in the Cup as well. The RSL U-15 squad will play three matches with the first set to take place on Friday night at 4:00 p.m. PST against Colorado. On Saturday, RSL squares off against Chicago at 4:00 p.m. PST and they will take a day off on Sunday. Their final match at the Denver region event will take place on Monday with RSL taking on FC Dallas at 8:00 a.m. PST.
