CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Playing in below freezing temperatures and with just 30 seconds left in the first overtime period of a scoreless match, Marquette drove down Akron’s left-wing on a clever back-heel and whipped in a dangerous cross. Grande Sports Academy graduate Coco Navarro ran to the spot, extended his legs and deflected the ball into the back of the net for Marquette’s first-ever NCAA tournament victory.
CASA Grande, Ariz. – GSA Exports has been a feature on this blog that has tracked the performances of our former players who are playing professional or called up to a national team. This post is another GSA Exports, but a little different. We have wonderful student-athletes at the Grande Sports Academy and every single one has been offered a college scholarship. Over 40 of our former players are playing in the 2013 collegiate season and we will be tracking their performances every week here on our GSA Exports College Edition post.
