Once per week we will take a look at the current standings for our U18 and U16 Academy teams.
RSL U18 Academy Overview – U18 Academy has done well in 2013, going 7-1-1. The Academy was off this past weekend and a few of the older players went to prom at Vista Grande High School.
Last Game – U18 Academy was off this last weekend. Two weeks ago on Saturday (4/13/13) RSL defeated San Diego Surf 2-1. Goals from: Trevor Hyman and Surf OG.
Right Now –RSL is W16-L3-D4 on the season and is the sole leader in the Southwest Division. RSL has accumulated 52 points and is averaging 2.26PPG. LA Galaxy have played one fewer game and are averaging 2.18PPG. Real So Cal is in third place and is averaging 2.13PPG.
Up Next – U18 stay home this weekend and will take on Real So Cal, Sunday at 11:00am.
RSL U16 Academy Overview
Last Game – U18 Academy was off this last weekend. Two weeks ago on Saturday (4/13/13) RSL defeated San Diego Surf 2-1. Goals from: Moises Rodriguez and Diego Silva.
Right Now – RSL is now W14-L5-D4 on the season and in 3rd place in the Southwest Division. RSL U16 are still a significant number of points behind second place Real So Cal and first place Chivas USA. Games against these opponents, which will come up in a few weeks, will determine the Southwest Division. RSL has also moved into the first place wildcard spot. Table for the wildcards below
