CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – U.S. Soccer technical advisors have selected four Development Academy Select rosters, two at the U-15/16 and U-17/18 age groups, to compete against each other at the 2013 Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and two Real Salt Lake Academy players have been selected.
Defender/forward Miles Stray has been named to the U-15/16 Blue Select Team and goalkeeper Christian Herrera has been named to the U-17/18 Red Select Team.
The Academy Red and Blue Select teams for the U-15/16s kick off at 4 p.m. MT on December 12th and will be followed by the U-17/18 match at 6 p.m. MT at the Premier Sports Campus.

Stray has been named to the starting XI in all but one match for the U-15/16 RSL Academy team this season and has shown an ability to dominate the opposition on both ends of the pitch, playing as a forward and as a centerback. Stray has found the back of the net four times this season.
Herrera has yet to miss a minute through seven matches for the U-15/16 team this season. He has allowed three goals, earned five clean sheets and has yet to concede a goal at home through four matches.
