Former Academy player Danny Gavin had the winning assist in the SeaWolves 1-0 victory over Washington Crossfire this weekend. Five Academy players were also called up by Real Salt Lake to play in their reserve game this past weekend.

Carlos Salcedo, D, Real Salt Lake – Salcedo had a bacteria infection in his throat which kept him out of action for the past 2 weeks. He did get the start and played 90 minutes in RSL’s scoreless draw with Phoenix FC on Saturday. Salcedo looked sharp and should be fully fit by RSL’s next game on Saturday.
