CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The Grande Sports Academy home of the Real Salt Lake – Arizona Academy is pleased to announce the addition of two three-day camps geared specifically for goalkeepers and strikers.
The first camp will commence on June 20th, 2014 and will end on June 22nd, 2014. The following camp will kick off on July 18th, 2014 and conclude on July 20th, 2014.
Grande Sports Academy, home of the 2013 United States Soccer Developmental Academy U-15/16 champions, offers soccer focused residential camps throughout the year where campers are coached by nationally and internationally recognized soccer coaches who played at the highest levels – international, national teams and MLS. The campers play on professionally manicured soccer fields, train in the 58,000 state of the art performance center and are challenged each day to improve technically, tactically, physically and mentally.
Goalkeepers will focus on decision making, footwork, shot stopping and crossing, while the strikers will focus on dribbling, shooting, free kicks, headers and the ability to finish.
Cost for the three-day camp is $695 and includes meals, accommodations, training, sales tax, service fee, and t-shirt.
