The Grande Sports Academy is pleased to announce that four new student-athletes have joined the Academy at the start of this semester. To help welcome them into the program and introduce them to you, we provided a player profile and a quick Q&A for two of the four players. Click here to see who the other two players were.

Jonathan joins the academy after playing for the Southern Soccer Academy (SSA).
Q- Why did you join Grande Sports Academy?
A – Because of the way the teams play and the people here.
Q – What made you interested in joining the Academy?
A – How professional it is and the quality of the team.
Q – What plans do you have for your future?
A – Play professionally and play for the South Korean National Team (Jonathan’s parents are both from South Korea).
Hobbies – Playing with my dogs, playing ping pong and hanging with friends

Alberto joins the academy after playing in the Puebla (Liga MX) youth academy.
Q- Why did you join Grande Sports Academy?
A – The facilities, dorms, fields and everything. It amazed me.
Q – What made you interested in joining the Academy?
A – Having a better opportunity to go to a professional soccer team. If not that, getting into college with a scholarship playing soccer.

A – Play professional soccer.
