CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Four Real Salt Lake Academy players from three different levels of U.S. Soccer were among 36 players named to the U-20 MNT camp by head coach Tab Ramos.
The 10-day camp will be held in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, from January 3-12, and will also feature two intrasquad scrimmages. This is the U-20’s second camp of the new cycle and first domestic camp.
From the Real Salt Lake Academy, current U-18 midfielder Corey Baird (Stanford commit) was selected along with Andrew Brody (University of Louisville). This is the first national team call up for Brody, who scored three goals and notched eight assists during his freshman year for the Cardinals this past season. Baird has played in seven league matches for the RSL-AZ U-18 Academy team and is tied for second in scoring with four goals.
Real Salt Lake first team call-ups include Home Grown players Jordan Allen and Benji Lopez.
U.S. Soccer is holding a U-18 MNT camp in Lakewood Ranch during the same timeframe as the U-20 camp and three current Real Salt Lake Academy players were called up: Justen Glad, Christian Herrera and Sebastian Saucedo.
