Every few weeks players from the Grande Sports Academy head into the city to help out with a community service project. Two weeks ago six players helped clean up a park. You can read about that right here.
This past weekend 8 players visited the Boyd & Girls Club: Nicholas Reyes, Javier Avelar, Adam Ferguson, Kaleb Goodman, Dillion Nino, Tevin Lowe, Trent Lowe and Duncan Storey.
The academy players joined the kids and played basketball and soccer with them.
“It was great to give back to community,” said Kaleb Goodman. “I love being able to provide a positive impact in the community by playing and sharing the sport that I love.”
Adam Ferguson added, “It was pretty nice. Got to play some basketball help out the community, played sports with little kids. It was fun.”
Great job academy players. Keep up the great work!
