U.S. Soccer has selected Jordan Allen as Week 28 Player of the Week. Allen’s achievements this past week during Real Salt Lake – Arizona and RSL Reserve matches were recognized in Around the Academy by USSoccer.com.
Allen’s weekend began on Saturday with a start and a full 75 minute of match play in RSL-AZ U18’s 3-0 win over the San Diego Surf. Allen then was a half-time substitute for the U18’s RSL-AZ 4-1 win over the Nomads SC. The week of match play for Allen was completed when he played a full 90 minutes in Tuesday’s RSL Reserve League match play against FC Dallas. Allen did have a couple of opportunities in RSL Reserve 3-0 loss.
Allen becomes the first repeat Player of the Week honoree this season. He was recognized for his play during Week 22 (February 19-20).
